Morning all! It's Friday! *punches air*
I love that my catch up always includes something random. Last night, genetics. Brilliant
mhoc I think you're on the right track with veggie and meat lasagnes. If it was me, I'd like a side salad with it so it doesn't get too carby but everyone is different. Then homemade puds sound fab. Maybe do something tried and tested so it doesn't cause any stress for you in attempting a totally new recipe?
Catch you all later xxDebt free 6th December 2014

Good morning all, meant to get warmer here today.
Thank you for all the birthday wishes for yesterday, have to say one or two of the cakes pictured would be wonderful to have in real lifeClassy_Chick06 wrote: »There is nowhere and no option to enter an email address , you just enter the receipt details then i get a message saying" my receipt is not ready yet."

That is so true, I spent the first 23 years of my life boxed in by two golden boy brothers, and constantly being told I was useless and could not do anything right. I have since found out there is a lot I can do and I am highly intelligent (rather than being dumb and my brothers being the bright ones!).
I have made a place for myself in this life since I stopped answering "can you" with "no" and simply used either "yes" or "I haven't tried yet".davemorton wrote: »Morning all.
What is your mental age (its quite accurate, I am 16)

Mine is 22. My OH did actually land Paris on me once, except I had 5 hours to prepare and we went for the weekendNo way I turn down that sort of thing
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Mhoc if you look back a couple of threads TrulyMadly posted a recipe for Toblerone cheesecake which was so simple even I could make it. It was TrulyDelicious
I scored a mental age of 25 which seems reasonable - old enough to know how and young enough to be able to.0 -
Can't go wrong with a nice veggie lasagne. I like beanfeast bolognaise flavour available in packets like a sauce mix. One pack serves 2 so ideal. Could add all usual then ie tin of toms, cheese. This way everyone eats same if you do a meat version and you could go with all the obvious sides. Hth x
Yes we would have to have a meat version of lasagne - OH thinks the world would end if he does not have a daily fix of meat
OH knows this is a possibility but he does not know yet that its confirmed so I want to get all the initial decisions made today before he gets back.
1st thing I have to do today is to tackle the mound of various types of recycling that have appeared on the dining room table - pile for Oxfam, pile for the hospice warehouse, another pile of things that really need to go back for a refund.... And examine what is underneath the table apart from the wine and beer stash
We did once find a dead mouse under the table Sophie must have brought home, at least we hope it was dead when she came in with it and she also has a bit of a regurgitation problem“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I've got a mental age of about 31 which I think is about right.
I def could do the drop everything and go now thing - I always keep the overnight bag packed and ready plus a zip up bag with a full toiletry and medical kit - incase we get a good deal and in theory with just 3 phone calls I can be out of the door via the cattery“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
