For anyone interested in home improvements there is a cashback scheme called Green Homes. Scotland may be different but its open to tenants and owners, we have been advised to ask for a review on loft insulation, new led lights and heating controls but the full info is on the website. DH met someone who does this work and he thought I would have known. It only takes a couple of minutes to fill in the online form but the scheme closes for applications on 31 March but work can be up to 12 weeks later.
Enjoy your day
Hi
I'm in the middle of this. I had to pay for assessment in advance, then I have to pay for any measures then claim it all back. Its been a long process. And not over yet. Cavity wall insulation going in on Monday.
I think however all the energy companies from 1st April having to offer free energy saving measures again, the assessor who was here was speaking about it. As the green deal offer was not very popular with all the upfront costs
