A calf died the other day so he's trying to get the cow to adopt another, otherwise they get mastitis, just went out to check on on the ewes and lambs to find a lamb and been killed by foxes. It's hard work when he's this busy. Seeing him for about 45 mins a day.
sorry to hear this. Foxes! A few on here have lost chickens to them. I guess it's a busy time for your OH so not seeing him much goes with the job?
If you can't beat him.....join him?
you might be working but you'll be doing it together. I hope things work out with your cow.

I work full time. It's the only way we can afford to farm :rotfl: I don't mind(most of the time) as it is nice living on a farm but it doesn't pay atmI have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar

I suppose it's not that strange. If you spend a lot of time looking after animals.....for whatever purpose, you are going to be upset if they suffer in any way. I'm sure you'd rather he be upset and care than not? Sounds like you are on a learning curve0
