PS I don't know if anyone can offer any advice, but I'm looking to buy a self-propelled petrol lawn mower ( for wife's birthday).
I don't know anything about them, so any experience with which ones to avoid would be as helpful as any recommendations. Please and thank you

So how would that work with apps like MSL where we walk round the store scanning the barcodes?
I'm sure my Ts app (dunno about As) has an option on it to scan items too?
I agree. They have provided apps with scanning abilities which would point to them encouraging the use of this. I guess they will do what they always do.......make it up as they go along:rotfl:
Has anyone else noticed how loud the beep on the Asda app is when you scan something? :eek:0 -

Thanks DaveEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Does it have to be a petrol one? Just my memories of our petrol mower from when I was a kid are of one going up in flames when my brother started it! No damage was done but scary for two kids just about to mow the lawn for the first time :eek:
Before anyone jumps on you for buying one for your wife's birthday, I would have been delighted with a decent lawnmower for my birthdayOH has said if I want a new lawnmower I will have to wear out this one first :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Yes we need a large powerful mower now, as we have recently moved and our lawn is huge. It took nearly 3 hours to mow with a Bosch rotak electric mower. ( joking aside, I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, so after managing half the lawn last Sunday, my wife really did have to wrestle it off me to finish it)Friendship Is Magic.0 -
Nice quick catchup due to the maintenance last night :TNSD again for me ;)but need to go get sorted as have finally decided the time has come for me to have a window cleaner as getting too much for Nannylala to climb on ladders:eek:£8 for the whole house seemed pretty reasonable to me for a 3bedroom house:T
Hope you all enjoy your day.0
