PS I don't know if anyone can offer any advice, but I'm looking to buy a self-propelled petrol lawn mower ( for wife's birthday).

I don't know anything about them, so any experience with which ones to avoid would be as helpful as any recommendations. Please and thank you 49.gif

Good morning all.:D Back in UK now.
Beautiful sunny morning here, and quite warm. Making the most of today as back to work tomorrow.:(
Never managed to catch up, but I'm still trying. Hopefully my local buddies will update me when we all meet.:D
    Hope everyone is well.
Off to prep a shop for today, can't bring myself to do a muggle shop, have to get at least a small comparison.:D
    Hugs to all.

    Morning :)

Cold and wet out and not very warm :(

Last day til weekend trying level 500 on candy. Tomorrow will go onto dreamworld if 500 not defeated. Having a rest from 500 may shake it up.

I suppose it depends how much attention you draw to yourself and how the staff in your store would react if you do? There are stories of stores not taking too kindly to such practices......remember Savvys experience in Morries? Some stores do have a disclaimer saying that it's illegal to photograph things in store.......it's not illegal, it's against their policy and the disclaimer only gives them the right to ask you to refrain from doing it.

So how would that work with apps like MSL where we walk round the store scanning the barcodes?
I'm sure my Ts app (dunno about As) has an option on it to scan items too?

Go for as wide as possible. Makes cutting the grass easier. I got a JCB one on offer, it was about half the price of most others, and I find it fine.

Does it have to be a petrol one? Just my memories of our petrol mower from when I was a kid are of one going up in flames when my brother started it! No damage was done but scary for two kids just about to mow the lawn for the first time :eek:

Before anyone jumps on you for buying one for your wife's birthday, I would have been delighted with a decent lawnmower for my birthday :D OH has said if I want a new lawnmower I will have to wear out this one first :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well that's the last of the pizza vouchers gone. I feel slightly relieved:o. But what a fantastic promotion it's been.

I wonder what percentage the Elite have "bought":rotfl:

Must admit the last two weeks have been a bit frantic trying to use up my pizza mocs. Got my last 4 yesterday and think I managed to get overage on all but 3 or 4. So over £30 free shopping.:j Don't think I will be buying pizza anymore this year!

Finally found the Ciabattas as well but sadly no McCoys.

Went to M&S on Sunday to get a card - chose a lovely blank one for MIL, so free with stamped card ;) At the back there was a rack with lots of reduced cards. I got a couple marked at 50p but went through till at 25p each and SA stamped my card again twice :)

I'd love one too, I've been trying to wear our flymo out for the best part of 14 years :rotfl:
The shed even got flooded over the winter when the felt roof was ripped off in high winds so everything stayed damp for a few months.
The mower still started up yesterday when I decided to mow the lawn
