Name and shame British Gas. Energy saving related.
Long story, unhelpful, useless. add any other negative to it.
No energy performance certificate sent
no receipt for payment sent.
No terms and conditions sent.
Now trying to charge for post visit. another £129 local guy £55 !
lies from start to finish
If this saves one person from the crap I have had with them then good

one very unhappy banana,
We had a similar experience Bananababe - paid British Gas £100 to do a Greendeal assessment. They booked a time to come and do the assessment then failed to show up. They eventually came to the second appointment and did the assessment - the problem was that they only recommended work BG do themselves (funny that). Despite us needing several other measures including double glazing (and being eligible under the Greendeal scheme) they refused to recommend anything BG cannot supply even though the assessor is supposed to be 'independent' and recommend all possible energy saving measures!
Then they informed us a few weeks later that they would have to revisit to do another assessment as they had not submitted the paperwork to the Greendeal scheme within the appropriate time frame. At that point we refused to take another morning off work and asked for our money back. It took several emails and phone calls to get it!“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

When I went to Egypt, many years ago, it was SO primitive and the palaces/temples/tombs were SO advanced, we couldn't even build them today, without taking hundreds of years and thousands of workers. It seemed obvious that it was not human technology that built them.
I'd love to go back BUT even though I went on 5* AI I came back and was projectile vomiting and felt really ill for 6 months. I'm wary of Egypt now. It's fascinating and really makes you wonder who built it.
I was totally blown away when I went to Hampi in India.:)
How on earth did they construct such amazing buildings, miles from anywhere, with primative tools?

Sorry aau1, nothing interesting on my cheese and onion crisps. They were n/a against everywhere except W, where they were more expensive.0

Moonshine? LOL
APG goes by what you order, not what they substitute for you
The problem would be if the picker is working off a pick list showing your pantene should be £3.69. Would they know to sub it for a £1/£2 cost item? They might pick a £4 item and price match it to £3.69. If they did you can refuse the sub on collection
Ty lol not sure where moonshine came from I meant the powder0 -
