Lucky you even seen one. When I did card stand for Teskies(3rd party), after every holiday/event I used to stand through the back and destroy all the cards. Hundreds of them. One minute getting sold for £4 next in the skip and they had to be destroyed by hand before they went in skip.

Its so not to jeopardise next years sales apparently

Just shows what a rip-off greetings cards are, that they can afford to destroy so many like that.

I mean, up to £6 or so for the bigger ones ! Really ??

Given the chance, I usually go to the Card Factory or similar, and pay around £1 for very nice cards.

Or even more MSE, get from WHS with the recent O2 promotion (free Valentines and Mothers Day cards - any price :D

    Here is a little tip:

When you quote someone in a reply, there is a little arrow-like symbol next to their name before the quoted text below.

Once you have replied, click on this arrow in your reply, and it will take you back to that post - where you were before you replied !
Many thanks for the handy tip Bikertov.
I just tried it and it works! :)
In fact, this is even less clicks than the previous best method, providing you are happy to reply before reading to the end of the thread of course.

Turned out quite warm today :T
  • I think whoever wrote it needs to go back to school. Maybe you need to read Erik von Danekin - Chariots of the Gods.

When I went to Egypt, many years ago, it was SO primitive and the palaces/temples/tombs were SO advanced, we couldn't even build them today, without taking hundreds of years and thousands of workers. It seemed obvious that it was not human technology that built them.

I'd love to go back BUT even though I went on 5* AI I came back and was projectile vomiting and felt really ill for 6 months. I'm wary of Egypt now. It's fascinating and really makes you wonder who built it.

    I'll google it :)

From a young age I've been fascinated by Ancient Egypt and I really do hope to visit one day.

I've always loved to learn new things :) I just think that it's a shame no matter how you look at it, we all came from the same yet kill each other, be it for religion, culture or anything else :(

  • Just had a VERY quick look on Asda.com. Can't sign in as forgotten my password. :) Signed out there are NO 3 for £10 on Easter eggs and also Quorn - nothing in the 3 for £5(nothing stands out here for me). CC order? - none for me as no CC shop nearby. How's it looking signed in?

Is it just me OR has Quorn gone down massively in price recently?

I had that problem too and I used to make a note of the page and post number I was up to every time I posted something until I found (completely accidentally) that if I click on the post number (top right hand corner of each post) it opened a new tab (using Firefox - not sure if all browsers do this but worth trying).

The new tab just shows the post I had clicked on with the bit underneath for replying. Now, when I want to post while still reading through the thread, I click on the post number and reply in the new tab that opens automatically. Once I've submitted my response, I close the tab and, voila - I am still reading where I left off! :D
    HTH

Brilliant! I'd started doing the same as want to reply as you read but always forgetting to note my page number to find my place again. This much better thanks Nenen x
