The spread between savings and loan rates has now become quite unbelievable. Barclays Cash ISA 0.10% PA lol..... Barclays Overdraft 1,000,000% lol
You think that's bad? I was charged nearly thre pounds for some "artisanal" bread from Tesco last week, but when I tried to sell them some that I'd made, they would not pay me anything at all.
How is this fair?0 -

How is this fair?
I'm sure if you could offer them an identical product at a barclaysesque type profit margin (eg. 0.0000000000001p per loaf) they might take you up on it.0 -
Just switched to First Direct online.
It gives me no great pleasure as I've always found Barclays to be OK, but you have to vote with your feet when you don't agree with something.
If your stuck with them however their Facebook page is always good for venting. http://www.facebook.com/BarclaysUK0 -
Thanks to all for your support. Help us reach the next milestone and beyond. Regardless of what they try and tell you, who are these new changes/fees really benefiting other than Barclays?

Those who nudge over their authorised limit and get charged for paid/unpaid transactions. They'll save a chunk. Thanks to all for your support. Help us reach the next milestone and beyond. Regardless of what they try and tell you, who are these new changes/fees really benefiting other than Barclays?

Here's a thought....don't spend money that you don't have!!!! Jeez! This isn't rocket science.
Barclays may be greedy, money-grabbing b******* but that's tough as they can charge whatever the market will tolerate.
Why should Barclays, or any other bank for that matter, give people money? Why?! Do you think you're special and entitled to it? ...NEWSFLASH...you're not!
If you don't like it, change banks or stop spending what you haven't got!! Simples.0 -
It's fair because they don't have to deal with you and they don't want to deal with you. It's their choice. They can choose whose produce they sell because they own the company, not you.You think that's bad?
