I have to say I have not done this deal myself and am posting not only to inform but also to find out if anyone else has done this. A local mobile phone store is offering Nokia 6230 with cross network minutes for 99p a month.
The deal is slightly complicated but seems worth while for the cost savings.
How does this deal work, well it is a cashback deal and I think it must be taken up in the shop, so living locally is advantageous. The phone is on an orange contract so all line rental is paid to orange via a direct debit. At the end of six and twelve months you take your orange bill to the shop and they refund you the line rental orange has charged you by bacs transfer.
The shop gives you two sim cards, in combination they will entitle you to 400 cross network minutes for the first six months and 60 cross network minutes for the final six months.
Orange charges you £16 for the first three months, £32 for the next three months and finally £15 for the final six months per sim card. This totals £468, the shop refunds you £234 after six months and £222 after a year, so you pay £12 in total.
I cant really see how this is a bad deal but I am sure the more experienced of you will show me the flaws in my thinking. The deal can be further improved if you already have a phone as you can sell the brand new Nokia for over £100 on ebay, making a profit on the deal!
The shop, which has many other offers is Simply Mobiles, 247 Neasden lane, London, NW10 1QG, 08706091991, https://www.simplymobilesonline.co.uk

Wow, that does seem like a good deal. You sound knowledgeable, will you serve me if I come into the shop and take me through the small print ?

They get their deals direct from the retailer, so if it's a e2save deal, then e2save told them about it.0 -
Pete, I for one am glad you are sceptical that makes you a great money saver. Thats exactly why I put this post here so people like you could ask the questions I have not thought to ask, I dont work for the shop, but I would not expect you to believe that either.0

No offence intended, its just it was your first post. Seemed a little odd you would post about a mobile phone bargain.
No worries.
