Sky BB Availability Checker

As an existing Sky TV customer currently with AOL, I checked Sky availability on their website and was informed it isn't available to me. I live in a rural area just outside of Carlisle but have a Carlisle phone number (Carlisle's exchange has Sky LLU). My current speed is abysmal but is functional nevertheless, so why would I be unable to change to Sky? I would like to change more for the cost benefits than performance improvements.

One possibility is that there are no available slots on the exchange for Sky to use to connect you. There's limited available space on their kit at the exchange.
You could call Sky to confirm if this is the case?0 -
That's a huge exchange (36,000 residential customers), so may well be fully subscribed for Sky LLU.
Are you sure that you are on the actual Carlisle exchange and not a smaller neighbouring non-LLU one? Do an exchange search on wwwsamknows.com to check. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I have been trying to get Sky broadband on their site for a few hours. I was trying to get a deal via top cash back. There seems to be an online issue with Sky's broadband checker at the moment. May be worth calling the number you get off them when the online site fails.
