Galaxy Note 2 call volume

I am thinking of getting a Galaxy Note 2 (currently have an HTC Wildfire 2).

What I need to know about is the call volume, as I use in the ear hearing aids and find that my current phone is getting increasingly difficult to hear even on full volume.

Is there a decent range of volume options for incoming call volume?

  • I've got a Note 2. Whilst at 29 I'm some way away from hearing aides my hearing is absolutely atrocious and I've never had any problems from it. I would suggest a trip to a shop to have a play with one to be on the safe side.

If you have NHS hearing aids issued since 2010, such as Siemens Impact or Oticon Zest-C, then they are likely to be Bluetooth-enabled. You will then be able to pair your hearing aids to your mobile phone with a simple accessory kit. If you have private hearing aids, your audiologist can advise you about Bluetooth compatibility.

Great fun. Incoming calls ring within your hearing aids, so no problems with the volume of the handset ringer itself. No need to hold the phone itself. Just keep it within about 10 metres of your hearing.
