samsung e250 anyone? how to disable WAP?

I picked up a really cheap Samsung E250 for my daughter to use, anyone know how to disable WAP so she cant browse the internet on it as the phone is only for texts/emergencies.

As far as I'm aware, it can't be done. Perhaps this post will bump it up and one of the tecchie types can confirm.

The quick solution of course is to delete the settings, but any kid with Internet access nowadays knows they can get a quick text message with the settings sent through to them.

Alternatively, if it is just a case of getting a phone for calls, take the Samsung back and get them an even cheaper phone without WAP access? There must be plenty out there without WAP that are cheaper than an E250. This is one example:

cant you phone up the network and get them to bar wap access for the sim?

im not sure if its possible, but you can give it a go if you want
