Firstly I am annoyed that the coop would offer to pay off these bullies when I told them that I bought a parking ticket to cover the time I had stayed. But it seems they are not just not interested in the moral details of all of this.

Not as annoyed as I am, I am a member, that is my dividend they are trousering.

I think, since the Rev Flowers debacle, morality and the Co-op are not concepts which go hand in hand.

The problem is that they are obviously trying to get out of the contract as CEL are an unethical and downright scum of a company, the coop has got burned with this I think, and it's cheaper to pay them their scam invoice rather than having coop customers in court.

Probably CEL has cottoned onto this and are sending out claims to every coop customer as they have a very high chance of getting it paid. You need to understand that CEL probably doesn't even have permission to issue court claims, but that won't stop them. It certainly didn't stop parking eye with Somerfield

Bit of an update.....After emailing the co-op last night I have just received an email (which I believe is a bog standard template going by my research on similar forums) saying "Please be assured that I have made arrangements for this charge to be paid directly to the debt recovery agent who is acting on behalf of the Parking Management company not the Co-operative.....blah blah"

    .

What email did you send it to mate? and what did you put in your email?

    thanks

Please start your own thread, we cannot be discussing two different small claims on one thread.

Yes look at them but not hijack them, sorry but you need to keep to your own thread as it confuses people if there is more than one issue per thread, especially where small claims are involved.
