I have a Samsung GT N7000 that I need unlocking and have received an offer to remotely unlock it - at a cost of £10 using the factory method !!
Should I trust this ?
When they say "remote" - I imagined them, somehow logging on remotely - but this is not going to be possible - is it ?

OK Went to CEX today to get my mobile unlocked and guess what ?
(There is no option in my town - all the others have shut down)

It was already unlocked - but why did EE charge me over £20 to unlock an already unlocked phone - supplied by them - when given the IMEI ?

There is a good chance that the lock status wasn't on the operators screen when you were requesting an unlock code, so he or she simply did what you requested and took you through the standard procedure for unlocking and did what the screen told them to do.

Why didn't you ascertain whether it was locked or not before calling EE and asking for an unlock code?
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
