What's happened to the House of Commons board?

I know it wasn't used that much but it's unusual to completely delete a board - for example, the CAB board is still there even though it's been closed for over a year.

    Hi everyone

After talking to our House of Commons representative we've agreed more people are benefiting from her posting around the Forum rather than on one individual board.

So we're going to move the threads on our House of Commons Board over to other relevant boards and close the House of Commons board to new posts.

We'll use redirects on the House of Commons Board for a short while so you can click the link and it will still take you to the thread, simply on another board, so you know where it's gone.

We'll leave it available to view for a little while so you can see where the threads are then we'll remove the board.

Thanks fermi. I'd noticed the reps posting elsewhere, which I think is a better option (and one that I argued should be the case for the CAB board, unfortunately in vain).

The House of Commons board was far more used and useful than you'd believe.

It's demise wasn't brought about DOT (who MSE admitted wasn't more than one person and is female by gender) but me posting leaked information on the report regarding the Parliamentary Ombudsman.

Where is that thread now - you try and find it ......

No, the misuse of it by you and others with similar mindset was one of the reasons why I stopped bothering to go there. I'm just hoping you don't pop up with your mad conspiracy theories in other places.

Is agrinnall telling us that whistleblowers are wrong:

Well that's exactly the problem isn't it? You are always so wonderfully vague about the wrongdoings you allege have occured. So we live on in blissful ignorance regarding the exact nature of the conspiracy. :rotfl:

There's nothing vague about the HOC message board being closed in due haste, or agrinnall's dislike towards whistleblowers.

Is this to do with vague mad conspiracies that you guys go on about .... :D

I am very much in favour of whistleblowing. But it needs to be done appropriately, and this is very definitely not the right place unless you want to tell us something about Mr. Lewis. Any complaints you have about procedures at the House of Commons should be made to the proper authorities, although as antrobus has pointed out you never actually said anything that appeared to have any substance, hence the suspicion that you are of the same ilk as those who believe Neil Armstrong didn't walk on the moon and are no doubt coming up with bizarre theories on the fate of MH370.
