Just ordered mine. Went through the check out at £20.60 and I have the printed reciept. Not had the confirmation email. Also the My Account section is down at the moment so I cannot check what price it has against it.

Has anyone had the confirmation email with the £20.60 charge on it?

Just as an update to my previous post.

I received the confirmation email and it had the £20.60 as I'd hoped. However, the Tracker still listed at £40+.

I called them and after 30 minutes got through. I explained my concern and the woman (got her name and dept) advised that it would be the £40+ I would be charged. I explained that as a new customer I used a promotion and the discount took it to £20.60. I advised I had the printed reciept and the confirmation email to back me up. I was told the promo codes were invalid and not from them. I pointed out that I was not a Littlewoods customer so ho were they going to get promo codes to me. I said these promo's were specifically for new customer. I pointed out that if THEIR system had a problem with these codes after the fact, then that wasn't my problem as I had both the receipt and the email to confirm my purchase. She claimed the T&C's give them the right to amend/cancel an order. I said this is nothing to do with T&C's. Their system clearly has a problem as it accepted codes it shouldn't. I said it's not as if its accepting everything thrown at it as I had tried a different code and that had been rejected BEFORE I reached the checkout. I said I accepted that errors occur and clearly their system needed looked at but to punish me for a good faith order was very poor customer service. She refused to budge. I asked for her manager and was offered a call-back. I refused saying I needed this sorted now as I cannot have £40+ taken from my account. I was put on hold for a few moments and advised no managers available and that a call back would be today at some point. So at 12:30 on a Wednesday afternoon Littlewoods have no managers free to take a call.

I have now cancelled the order and I'm afraid Littlewoods have not only lost my order they have also lost any future business, and nothing but bad word of mouth from me from now on.

For those looking for them to honor the £20.60 I would suggest you give them a call. In my eyes they appear to be nothing more than a cowboy outfit.

I must give credit to the woman I spoke to. Very professional and didn't lose her cool. She can do much better than Littlewoods!

    Same thing happened to me.
Lady from Littlewoods phoned up today to confirm i lived here. and i just out of interest asked her how much it was going to be. She said £44.10.
i explained to her i used two promotion codes, and she wasnt having any of it.
Went down to my bank, to discover they have taken £44.10 out, Yet i have a email confirming my order [ when i first ordered ].
and today i recieved a confirmation email to say its been accepted at £20.60 and is awaiting stock
this was before i went to the bank and checked what they'd taken, so i canclled my order's and my account with them.
I also let them know how un happy i was with their customer service.

Phoned Littlewoods and argued my case regarding the promotional codes, got the girls name with whom I was speaking to, she said she would put a note on my file that the price of £20.60 will be honoured, as per E.Mail sent to myself earlier today.

Will let you know the outcome, whenever Jersey arrives

How exactly do I cancel this order on the website?

The link in the confirmation email does not work. I just tried calling them and could not get through: it just told that they were very busy and to call back. no queue, nothing.

Shocking, and deifinitely the last time I order anything from them

Have you tried logging in on the site and tracking the order. I think where the status is you can cancel. I cancelled while on the phone when they refused to honour the order. A smart company would honour the orders then close the loophole on the system that allowed them in the first place. Clearly they are not that smart or are under the impression consumers don't have choices on who to they give their business to. Bad business mistake :(

Surely if you agreed to pay £20.60, and that was on the statement, and littlewoods try and take £40odd, wouldnt your bank/credit card company stop the payment?

I would urge you NOT to use jp-sports.net to order your football shirts.

Internet forums are full of people complaining about this company. They entice you in with cheap prices, take your money (often via paypal) & keep stalling you on delivery dates and offers of refunds until you are past Paypal's 45 day deadline.

JP Sports are based in Bangkok, are not contactablle by phone & if you do receive a shirt from them you will be on of a very small number of lucky customers.

    Be warned!!!!!
