Was looking around one at the Camping and Caravan show the other week, it has the biggest boot I have ever seen on a seven seater and seemed well equipped and not too cheaply built considering the price.
Hang your head in shame for even suggesting this, must be the ugliest car on the road.Might be OK for growing tomatoes in though.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.
Got a huge Buzz out of it.0 -
We hired a Fiat Scudo for our trip to France last year, we've got 5 kids and didn't want them to have to be cramped in the Renault Grand Scenic for the 1,000 mile drive! I know, kids are soft nowadays.
It's great to drive, more like a car than a van, returned over 30 MPG even doing 80 MPH all the way down to Toulouse.
It's a large 8 seater (other variants available) with a huge boot, but maybe a bit too big?

Galaxy is a good shout if you want something not quite so big.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080 -

LOL, not quite the ugliest,
and the OP did ask for the MPV with the biggest boot, which is the only criteria I based my suggestion on.0 -
Dunno why you've ruled out the Viano, for your budget you get something like this (I know someone who drives one and thinks they are superb) I know it's 'only' 6 seats but

With MPV's you can't really have your cake and eat it. It's normally 7 people and a little luggage. The Galaxy, Sharan and Voyager are the biggest on the market. If you want bigger you need to go for a Ssangyong Rodius, van based or a Japanese import - Previa/Estima etc.
When you go up in size above a Galaxy sized MPV you may as well consider a decent van option such as the VW T5 or Viano. The man without a signature.0 -
Thanks for all your replies. I've plumped for the Grand Voyager! I'll maybe post a 6 month update to let you know how I get on with it.0
