EasyJet changed my flight - had to pay fee to re-scheduled it back - HELP !

In February I booked a flight form London to Brussels and return. Two days ago I received an e-mail saying that my flight time was changed because they are making a small number of changes to our timetables and if I'm not happy with those changes I will be able to rebook your flight using the services in manage bookings at easyJet.com.. Basically they changed my flight from 22 nd April to 23th April. The new flight date was not suitable for me so I wanted to change it. I was really surprised when I realized that my original flight (22ND APRIL) is still available. I didn't think much and I quickly re-booked my flight to the original date. Because of that I had to pay all fees. I feel like Easy Jest made it on purpose because they want to get more money from me. I feel like they robbed me! I will not use those airlines anymore and these flight is the last one but i have to ask if Easy Jest could do it ? And if I can try to claim any compensation? . Does anyone can help me?
