British Airways Carrier Imposed Charge

I've booked 3 tickets to Orlando using Avios. Flying with Aer Lingus from Manchester to Dublin then Dublin to Orlando.
To make the booking you have to phone BA cannot do it online.
Anyway on the breakdown of the charges there is a Carrier imposed charge. When I have clicked on the link for an explanation it states
"The charge is based on flight duration and applies to all passengers, including children and infants travelling on British Airways operated international and domestic services.*
We are not flying with BA, there is no Code share, Tried phoning BA but not having much luck.
Can anyone give me a clue? They are also charging a development levy!!!!
Thanks

The 'carrier imposed charge' is a euphemism for BA surcharges, typically their so-called fuel surcharge which they impose not only on their own tickets but also for flights on other airlines.
I think the change of name started in the USA as Americans laugh at so-called fuel surcharges and has since come to the UK.0 -
you can put your flights into the ITA Matrix and see the taxes that are applicable0
