Fire off a complain to ASDA head office about the predatory nature of their parking enforcement agents - and that the tickets do not have a self adhesive backing which causes the wind to blow them around.
A strongly worded complaint to them should see you get a gift voucher (£15 is the going rate at the moment) and the charge cancelled.0 -

You've misunderstood ... you were asked if YOU had got proof that YOU had filed/posted your appeal. (e.g. certificate of posting from the PO; email acknowledgement of appeal being received).0 -

Since the appeal was made via their website form I can't see a way that I would have proof unless they responded - which they haven't. How should I get proof, is it worth me mailing them a letter (signed for) as well?
Many thanks0 -
I always like a paper trail, that way they can't deny anything.
Don't use signed for get free proof of posting from a post office.
PPC's seem to have a habit of not signing.0 -

he means when YOU sent the appeal did you get any proof that YOU have sent it, eg trackable delivery? otherwise the only way you'll know they've recieved it is if they respond to your appeal.0 -

I wouldn't worry. They invariably reply by letter and usually beyond 35 days.0 -
