The Mountain Buggy is the best all-terrain buggy. It folds completely flat. We had the "urban" model which has a front wheel that can either be set to swivel (when around town) or to lock (when you're off-roading).0

Another vote for the Out n About Nipper - I have the original version and it's done festivals , camping , forest and beach walks with ease. I also used it to push my DS in when out training for the london marathon! Fantastic buggy and still going strong 5 years later! I think it now had adapters for a car seat and a carry cot too0

Out and about nipper.
Fantastic pushchair, really light, easy to fold, easy to push, no problem walking across fields and parks, plenty of room for baby/child, can attach lascal buggy board for a toddler (if this ever became needed :-) )
I would say Mountain buggy (which is amazing), but due to the price difference and the fact that the nipper does everything as well as the MB, the nipper wins my vote
I have had both btw and loved both very, very much...Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
I would recommend going to a sling library and having a play with different slings. I barely used DS's pram at all because I was comfortable with him in the sling, however some people don't get on with it so well.
I had a Bugaboo Bee. It would cover your lightweight, small fold and narrow requirements, but I've never tested it on the beach or in mud (I pulled it through snow - I've never found any prams good at sand or snow unless you pull them).0 -
One thing I found with our Phil and Teds and mud recently is that it can be mildly annoying in that the mud gets kicked up into the wheelguards making it harder to push (and it comes out for blooming weeks after the muddy walk). Doesn't bother me that much since the pushchair gets left in the car boot these days but might bother others.
Nippers seem to have become insanely cheap second hand lately as well - I saw a single one for £15 the other day and was tempted (but still use the second seat for my eldest on the P+T a bit too much to go without it).Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
