I presume that this is them. It has the ABTA symbol and claims to be part of the Co-Op. Should be fairly easy to check out if they are genuine or not.
  • i have just booked a holiday with them. i found 2 good websites for holidays and they are cheap! www.sunshine.co.uk (they are abta registered but not atol) and www.helloholidays.co.uk they are both abta and atol registered (insurance and assurance) Teletext use them for their holidays so they should be ok.
  • Hi,
I have just returned from a holiday booked with hello holidays. They also operate under the names of 2can travel and medinland travel. My advice to you and to anyone is please do NOT book a holiday with them.
I had terrible problems before I went away i.e. taking an unauthorised amount of money out of my account which took hours on my part to get reurned to me. I contacted teletext holidays who were very helpful and I did get my money back after this.
With that behind me I looked forward to my holiday. The hotel and its facilities were not as decsribed on their website. As I had a problem whilst on holiday and no representative exists I phoned their 'in resort helpline' number that I had been given. The person I spoke to was based in Birmingham and had never heard of my resort! Despite 3 phone calls to the the UK and assurances someone would contact me no-one ever did.
I have only just returned and intend to contact teletext holidays again this week to make them aware of this problem.
They are ABTA bonded but I phoned ABTA in regard to all of this and there is nothing they can do. Unfortunately as the holiday industry is not yet bound by standards other business have people can fall foul of such treatment and disapointment.
Hopefully taking the time to reply to this will prevent the same happening to someone else.
  • I used hello holidays in 2005 for a holiday to lloret de mar,Spain.
I paid £150 total for 2 people in a lovely 4 star half-board for 5 nights. It was the cheapest and most enjoyable holiday!.I plan to use hello holidays again this summer- JEDGAR
  • :TWe booked with Hello Holidays in June 2007 and found them friendly, helpful and had no problems with them at all. We had a great holiday. I am currently booking with them to go away in March 2008.
  • We went on holiday using Hello holidays/2cantravel last summer, It was a completely trouble free holiday at a big reduction to what other people paid at the same hotel, we had a fantastic time would def use again.but if you like to have holiday reps to look after your needs at the hotel this isn't the holiday for you but if you like to do things for yourself ( the hotel staff always help you if your stuck)
  • Last year (2007) we booked through Hello Holidays for an all inclusive holiday for 4 guys going to play golf and for the amount we paid could find nothing to complain about. This year if they come up with the cheapest price I am going to use them again to go to Benidorm.

Just remember to check the reviews of your accommodation on other websites and cost of transfers etc.

Oh and as for booking through a package holiday company, did so at Christmas, got hurt and hospital lost my passport. Looking back the package holiday company could have been more of an hindrance than help.

Hi have used this company for many years. Mainly used by our European Tourists, they are part of the Co-op group

Average standard is good + most holidays are all inc. and in my experience excellent value for money.

The one thing they dont provide is transport to & from the airport, but you can arrange that over the phone.

As said I've used this company for over 10 years for family and group use, my friends have gone back and rebooked their own trip. Spent a week in Majorca (Alcudia) last Sept. A lot of the people there were with the familes and had been going for years.

    Go on book it:j

hi we used hello holidays and they were fabulous. There was however lots of bits of paper that were your vouchers for coach transfers and meals, etc. We are thinking of booking with them again this year.
