car hire from faro and drop off in gibraltar

I'm having a hard time finding someone who can offer a car for 8-9 days in may with a pickup location of faro and a drop of point gibraltar. It should be under £100 but I found one and it cost £550, or £2000.

I've had a quick Google and that seems to be the only option that crops up. Maybe the OP could be more explicit about what he's found.Is dropping off on the Spanish side of the Gibraltar border cheaper?

One way hire is always expensive, because the hire company has to employ someone to drive the car back again. Add to the fact you're crossing 2 borders (Portugal-Spain and Spain-Gibraltar) means the insurance will be more expensive too.
£550 is a very good price all things considered.0
