Hi all, me again.. I have my assessment this week, last time i spoke to my cpn she said they haven't contacted her for evidence, is this normal or do they obtain it after the assessment?

It's not usual for DWP to contact anyone for supporting evidence relating to ESA or DLA, I don't expect it will be any different for PIP!0 -
It's amazing how the intervention of an MP always comes just before you were going to be seen anyway isn't it?! A wait of 6 months or more for PIP assessment isn't unusual - unacceptable but not unusual.0

I received a letter about a audit on the Friday, then received one to say it had been completed on Saturday.. While at the assessment i was told to expect a wait of around 4-6 weeks for a decision. So hopefully after nearly 10 months of waiting, it should all be finalised soon.0
