Looking for a lost sister. The person in question is around 26, to 28. To be honest didnt know the person exsisted until it was revealed by another family member. All I know is the persons name and most likely the part of the UK where she lives.
Is there anyway I can start to investigate where this person maybe, using electrol roll, births deaths etc.
Would that ancestry web site be of any help.
I think this person could be in the East of England I know the town but she could have got marries and changed names. So I need a starting place to begin the search.
Any help please that may help me search.
(please non of the posts that suggests the person may not want to be found, ask other family members etc etc)

Facebook? It's surprising what information people put on their profiles that is publically visible. Also 192 I think it is might give you an idea of whether she is registered on the electoral role in the area you think she is in. Even a google search might provide a clue.
Good Luck

Ancestry will give you the info you need to order a copy of the birth certificate, and to see whether she has married (but only up to 2005) or died (up to 2007). Marriage/death indexes after that would need to be consulted using the copies held at certain libraries.
You also need to bear in mind that she may have married abroad, or that she could have married and then divorced
You can use BT directory enquires, Facebook, 192.com and various others (tracesmart)....this will allow you to check the electoral register (edited version).
Having done quite a few of these type of searches, I always find the most effective way is to find another member of the family who still know where they are.0 -

Its a good point however there is a cnance that the person is now married, and possibly does not know about her 'other family'All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -

Im guessing the person is 26 to 28. google brings up nothing, thats why im thinking that she is now married. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
Don't guess -you need to find the birth record and get a copy of the certificate. That will give you the correct age, and the full correct name.
So can i get this info from the ancestry site?

If you know the rough age and area you could try browsing all the schools in the area on friends reunited for those years and take it from there?Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -

I have no information from any other family members.
No Ancestry will only give you the month and place her birth was registered. It would give you the correct year but not the date or month.
If it was registered in Jan/Feb/March it could also be her birth was the previous year.0 -
