Well there's been no free eBay listing for me, despite finding almost 50 items to sell! At least it means I will be more prepared next time.

But I put around 30 items on a local Facebook selling group, and two of the largest items have interest - someone is on their way now to collect a desk.

And I've cleared out Paypal from a small sale, Pinecone and Crowdology - so that's £23.20 to add.

We were going to go to a boot sale this morning, but it was a bit chilly and bed was just too nice to leave.

I think I'm going to do something I've never done before, but I'm going to use some of the money I've made to invest in something else - not physical items to sell. I don't want to say too much yet as I haven't finished researching, but there's definitely a lot to think about.

Oooh, intriguing. Let us know how that pans out, even if your research leads you to conclude that it's not an idea worth bothering with after all. For the first time in literally years, I bought a couple of things to resell on eBay the other day - two designer fragrances I found marked down to half price. Factoring in all costs involved (P+P, eBay fees, the usual...), they had to be listed BIN at just below retail price, but it's costing me nowt I haven't already accounted for to let them sit around on eBay for a couple of weeks, and I get to keep them for myself if they don't sell. I'll probably lose £10 A Day Challenger brownie points by admitting it, but I would not be entirely disappointed if this happened... :)

Speaking of loss of Challenger brownie points, I got the free listing weekend and do have some items to list. Just a dozen or so, but I've spent yesterday ignoring them and the last two hours staring at most of them while they sit on my bed. I'm browsing the thread (in this case AKA 'procrastinating') in search of motivation. If I'm seen again today on here without reporting any progress then I'm not in need of motivation, I'm in need of a backside kicking :o

I have made money since last posting, but can't be bothered to work it out and update my sig and will do it later. Apathy roolz, OK. I am going to list this stuff. No money, no MOT for the motor. Yup. I'm going to do it. Any minute now...

Love it SpecialBrew, i know exactly how you're feeling.....I didn't get the free listing though so had an excuse this weekend NOT to clamber round the house looking for anything and everything to list LOL!

Actually though, I'm not sure why I don't seem to be getting free listing invites anymore... I used to always get them. Is anyone else finding this?

Definitely intrigued by your research Emma - hope you can tell us about it soon hehe! All the best with it hun x

good luck Emmaglet, hope it is viable for you.

SpecialBrew - you do make me laugh. Apathy rules here too but I have worked out I need to sell loads this month to stop myself being in deficit.

well I went shopping today and used £6.50 in coupons :), it is double points weekend at sainsbobs, and I had a double points coupon as well as conditional spend points coupons. Found that sainsbobs do double up your points even on double points weekend :j:j. So earnt 430 points. my nectar balance is now £3.47 :j:j

I used £2.50 the other day to buy shopping, so have quickly recouped my money for more spending.

    5p roadkill too.
