Yeah coz thats a 3bed semi for 260k right? lol. anyways. yeah Id agree 5% was the max. The house prices for large family homes like you've highlighted are off the scale around here because its a nice commute to london, but still very close to rural areas, and probably a good base for some.
At any rate I couldnt find any 3 bed semi in Bromley (350-400k for a nice one) renting for £700 like the OP. The flat I am selling, in a quite run down area on council estate, is going to be £700pm!! For the semi it'd probably be more like 1500 or something. No thanks Id rather move out a bit further and buy.0
