There are places round here that give better yields, Sandbanks is one of those places where prices are all over the place.

To be honest, Sandbanks is a bit of a dive really. During the summer it is crammed with holidaymakers. The queue for the ferry across to studland trails back almost to the thin bit in the picture and theres nowt there but a lot of very expensive flats and a beach.

The rest of the harbour on the other hand is stunningly beautiful and in places very quiet and tranquil. I try to get out there as often as possible kayaking (in most weathers), in fact middle of winter is the best time out on the harbour.

Plus you get to find all the best beaches that are off the beaten track and relatively inaccessable by land. There's nowt like sitting on a sandbank in the middle of the harbour supping coffee early in the morning. (Well there is but its either illegal or unprintable on a family forum lol)
