Well at least its on evening hill before the penninsular, I dont know what the appeal is about the houses on there with the threat of rising sea levels it'll only be a matter of a couple of meters and the 4th most expensive place in the world to live will be renamed atlantis.
Sandbanks is very pretty
But it does seem very precarious.... Is it likely to be there in 50-100 years?0 -
There are places round here that give better yields, Sandbanks is one of those places where prices are all over the place.0

To be honest, Sandbanks is a bit of a dive really. During the summer it is crammed with holidaymakers. The queue for the ferry across to studland trails back almost to the thin bit in the picture and theres nowt there but a lot of very expensive flats and a beach.
The rest of the harbour on the other hand is stunningly beautiful and in places very quiet and tranquil. I try to get out there as often as possible kayaking (in most weathers), in fact middle of winter is the best time out on the harbour.
Plus you get to find all the best beaches that are off the beaten track and relatively inaccessable by land. There's nowt like sitting on a sandbank in the middle of the harbour supping coffee early in the morning. (Well there is but its either illegal or unprintable on a family forum lol)0 -

Stonking fireplace in the dining room though, mind you want to put the candlesticks on the table, someone might kick them over on the floor like that.0 -
