Just an update, I said to my friend I was thinking of joining an evening class at the Belfast Met and would she like to join me. Just said I wasn't sure what was on but I'd like to get out away from the kids once a week if possible, and she was interested. It's been left that she's going to do some research on what courses they offer and we'll have a look at which ones we might be interested and go from there

We've also been informed there's an Adult Irish dancing class near us so we're looking into that also

hiya irishRose ..i can understand a bit of what your friend might feel i think..i am and was in the same way ..i did work and try and did for a while do things im a bit backwards now myself but still must try .. she must have goals and wants in life?? shes depressed with no wonder shes no confince in herself ..get her out baby steps they do matter and need to be done before other things ..she must be loney in herself .....

wonderin if you found any meet ups ?? any ideas i would join aswell
