2,000?
I normally get about 100 a day that get filtered out automatically into junk and I thought that was bad0 -

My problem is that I own a fair number of domains and most have CatchAll addresses so anything sent to @mydomain.com comes in even if its gibbership before the @ symbol.
So far today's not been too bad 3,177 spam emails, normally get around 10,000 a day which go straight into Junk but there is a heavy concentration around the hours that the US are typically offline.0 -
yep, I've got catch all too, at "only" 100 a day I will count myself lucky0

I deliberately don't have catch-all on my domains. Still get the odd bit of junk through to actual addresses, but very little.
Mind you, I'm not potentially risking losing business if somebody tries to contact me but gets the address wrong. I've still had genuine emails go into the junk folder though, and have only found out when the sender asked why I ignored them!
Still haven't got the rebate on my US tax dollars though.... Wasn't aware of paying it, but I must have if they're emailing me about it.:)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. I deliberately don't have catch-all on my domains.
I've always found it useful as (a) helps get "new customer only"/ "refer a friend" offers by having a different email address to use without having to mess about actually having to set up a new account and (b) I can give a unique email address to each company and so see whos selling my details etc
A while back I had spam to an address I;d given to one national company. Contacted them that morning and they denied it saying it must be someone else. Next afternoon they did a press release saying their mailing list had been stolen
The downside of A is that I get multiple copies of each promotional email they send as I;ve now got multiple email addresses registered with the companies0 -
Firefox is pretty good and at "only" 100 a day it's easy to just scan subject/sender before deleting, be a different story if I was getting 10k a day
Its fairly simple as I can group them by attributes such as sender or subject and so any group which has more than a couple of emails in a day is a spam and can be deleted.0
