I have three direct debits set up on my club lloyds account.

Unfortunately, this month there will be no payment collected from the two out of the three direct debits.

I am just wondering if I can use paypal to make two different payment to qualify for the tiered interest rate.

I had an issue a while ago where British gas changed collection dates and that meant only 1 dd was taken for that month. I spoke nicely to the complaints dept and they paid into my account the lost interest and a goodwill payment.

Very surprised they gave me a good will payment because it was not their fault.

I have recently opened 3 Club saver accounts for myself/wife + joint.
We both each have the 2 different Tesco savings acounts.
It has been suggested to me by a Lloyds staff member that only 1 Tesco direct debit would be valid on each account and that second DD would have to be from a different provider.
Looking at the T/Cs it doesn't say different provider so I doubt this information is correct.
I'm sure this will be mentioned somewhere in this thread but sifting through 58 pages is proving tedious so can someone with this situation confirm that in order to fulfil the 2 direct debits requirement 2 the different Tesco DD's be used on an account?

The two Tesco accounts certainly are adequate for servicing these Lloyds accounts. Set the two payments to be pulled from Lloyds a day or two apart.

Can you please clarify. Do you mean 3 Club Lloyds current accounts?

DDs pulling from 2 different Tesco savings accounts works fine as they have different originator refs.

There have been several posts from people who have said multiple DDs into a single current account (not sure if it was Club Lloyds) from one Tesco savings account also work, but I personally have not tested it - nor do I intend to;)

Hopefully in a social capacity?...maybe down the pub last Friday night? Because why on earth would you highlight your plan in any official capacity in branch or on the phone!?

Don't worry, the former situation and it should have read Club Lloyds. Thanks all.

I am thinking of opening a Club Lloyds account and was also told this morning that two tesco DDs wouldn't be valid. But looking through this thread, it seems that is not the case, so I guess the staff must be wrong.
