Parking Eye County Court Form
Cheshirebird
So today I have received a County Court Form from Parking Eye
I read so many times that PE will not EVER send you to court Hmmmm they have now!
Haven't a clue as to where I go from here Its such a minefield as I honestly dont know what is the first step to take and if anyone can give me a step by step account of what to do I would be ever so grateful
I am useless at reading stuff I have to be told what to do, ( not asking anyone to do it for me) so again if anyone can help me I would be really grateful I dont mind purchasing PP Guide but again I wont understand it
Many many thanks

If you can't read stuff, it's difficult to know how we can advise you.Cheshirebird wrote: »... I am useless at reading stuff I have to be told what to do ...
Maybe you should just pay the claim, and concentrate on painting your nails and looking at the pictures in Hello! magazine ...
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Cb - please do not alienate those trying to help you in your previous posts.
Well done for at last starting your own Thread.
Now, DO WHAT HAS BEEN ADVISED here, three times, in detail:

It's lazy to simply cut and re-paste same-old same-old.
I will even Thank you for the 1st time, for a Useful Post, if you set to and start following advice, which I have spent an hour on giving and repeating for you, mainly because I don't give up on even the most hopeless of cases in Life generally. We want to help. But we can't if you can't/won't even begin for yourself.
'I read so many times that PE will not EVER send you to court '- not here.
If you are 'useless at reading stuff'[you make a good case, so far] - you were capable of reading 'a County Court Form from Parking Eye'.
If 'I have to be told what to do,'- you may well be told, if you can't do that very thing.
Now, kindly said - FOLLOW THE ADVICE GIVEN, READ,THEN COME BACK.
Until then, no further input.

bargepole - a further crosspost apology.

Reluctantly, I have to agree with this. Trying to prevent a case going to court at this stage requires understanding what you're writing. It gets even more difficult if you go to court where you have to argue your case ( you can't just say to the Judge "I'm a bit dim and struggle to read things".

Wow wasn't expecting those snotty replies. Bargepole if I could paint my own nails I really would

Sorry to have even asked for help now
Half of my brain doesn't work correctly due to a very bad accident which involved killing my husband, I was lucky to be alive!
I will try and find help elsewhere
Thanks for your time!0 -
Right cb- you made it very hard for us to help you.
We're all online. You give no relevant detail, which is not to say identifiable detail, but the nuts and bolts which allow all the good people here to select the appropriate help for your case.
I don't see how you will manage to use any of the available info. without someone alongside you at the screen. Is there no-one, perhaps via CAB, that you could ask for this necessary hand-holding assistance?
[After all, you read superficially when you first received the pe letters. You will NEVER have 'read so many times here' that pe don't do Court. That's beside the point now.]
The replies come from human beings, who read what you write. Why not try again? - as I've suggested above and in three previous detailed replies?
When you looked at the Parking Fine Forum page, you could have scrolled through and seen hundreds - literally, not figuratively - of people asking for help. There is a dedicated body of experienced, expert posters who devote hours, very day, to answering them.
Some of us, having received such help, pitch in when we can by way of showng our gratitude. Your sort of 1st stage enquiry is simply dealt with and we speak to each poster, Our knowledge grows with every case and we read around the subject, extend our own research for the good of the forum too.
It is understood you may not have wished to speak of the accident, but a small initial comment would have helped everybody help you. redx is particularly strong in this area from long personal experience and would know every element of dispensation that might have helped you earlier in the chain.
Do you have a Blue Badge? Do have a recognised diagnostic statement?
Think hard about what I've highlighted in red and try again. The Forum will not refuse help.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

My answer wasn't meant to be rude or harsh .... just realistic ( as I assume Bargepole's was ).
Responding to court papers can be complicated and requires careful thought out replies. If as you say you are "useless at reading stuff" then really, you will get slaughtered in court. That is why I've suggested you pay to save yourself the stress and disappointment."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -

.
A brain injury sustained as this OP describes would be covered under the Equality Act due to lasting damage - no doubt covered by medical records.
To Cheshirebird - if you would like to pm me your email address, I am more than happy to take this now off forum and help with filing initial defence statements and negotiations if you like.0 -
