Whats your thought on "Boilerjuice"

Would like some feedback on "Boilerjuice". Over the last 12-18 months I have found that they are now probably the most expensive site around to buy Heating Oil from. I used to have a savings plan with them for £100 per month and at the time was quite happy placing my orders with them twice a year. It wasnt until I received a junk email saying " Paying too much for your Heating Oil?" that I learned how expensive this company is. My investigations have found that because I live in a rural area it appears they charge a premium for their delivery service. When compared with local suppliers, some of which "Boilerjuice" use, I found I was being charged around 7.5% more per litre. I have now closed my account and had all savings refunded. Today I have found a company called "Northern Energy" that are 6.5ppl cheaper than "Boilerjuice" and was very happy with savings.
Too everyone out there reading this, ALWAYS shop around, companies that promise the earth usually fail to deliver.

I have never once found Boilerjuice competitive with either of my two local suppliers. I just use them as a gauge to see whether prices are going up or down generally.0

Boilerjuice have been on and off one of the better suppliers in our area, not always the cheapest, but very close, and that includes our local buying group.I have never once found Boilerjuice competitive with either of my two local suppliers. I just use them as a gauge to see whether prices are going up or down generally.
Have checked again tonight, 500l from Boilerjuice is 271.64.
heatingoil.co.uk is 272.06, directoil.co.uk is 284.81, homefuelsdirect is 284.85, and Chandlers our local is 287.18.
Have always found them competitive.0 -
