Paypal - Received an Invoice

I logged into my paypal account today and glad I'm did.

I have received an invoice I dont recognise from someone called Metaphysicals.

I selected the option to cancel invoice as it was for $1000!!

I put a message in the cancel part that I had never ordered from them.

However in the receipient message it says:-

Note to recipient
Hi Chris. I'm so happy for you! The High Priestess understood your great need so has granted your request for a discount on the Billionaire Spell which, as you know, is normally $12,000. If you wish to add the Full Moon Power to it, she said you would have to pay the full price of $500 for that as time slots are very limited. If you would like to add it, please let me know so I can reserve it for you and send you the additional invoice. It is not required for this spell however it will assist in giving it far greater force, momentum and speed. Let us know.

I believe this was sent to me in error as my name is Claire!!

If I have any problem after cancelling what can I do!?

A bit scared of receiving this to be honest!!

No I didn't I logged in separately as I would do.

The invoice was already on my account!!

Anyone can send a paypal invoice to an email address, just delete it.

I sent a complaint to email via contact us on their site.

I have cancelled the invoice as it was clearly sent to me by mistake.

I hope it will be resolved and I am not panicking for anything!!!

I know the invoice is fake because it has the 20th March on it and its the 19th today!!

Claire - have you had dealings with them before? It is strange your user name being Spellkaster and they are selling spells. I am not implying anything - but it does strike me as odd ??

Alternatively, Claire's email may be spellkaster@xyz.com and this Chris person's email is spellcaster@xyz.com would explain it if they both have similar emails referencing spells or similar

I second this, there is very little to panic about. You've received an invoice that you did not request so ignore it. They can't take money from your account.

Have you tried googling to see if others are receiving similar

I have not heard of them before, and dont know what their website is either.

I did send a complaint to paypal, but it takes up to 48 hours to respond.

I hope that by cancelling the invoice it would be the end of the matter.

The fact it states "Hi Chris", says to me it was clearly sent by mistake which is what I told paypal.

Shall keep an eye out in the next couple of days to see if any more crop up!!

Never experienced this before.

I really don't know what you expect Paypal or what you expect to achieve by complaining to them.

You yourself have said you think it's a mistake. What steps are you expecting Paypal to take, other than telling you to delete it.

And being scared by an invoice? Really? Goodness.
