Cancel Talk Talk moving back to Parents

Hi

I have 6 months left on a contract with Talk Talk.

Had phone, tv and broadband.

I have to move back to my parents for personal reasons but talk talk will not let me cancel as under contract.

I had an engineer round to try and move my service to my bedroom but it would involve re-wiring around the house which the home owner is not happy to accept.

Any thing I can do? I cant use the service, havnt since 01 March.

No, nothing. If you break the contract then you will be charged an ETC by TT.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

You can cancel it but your have to pay early termination charges.

Normally you wouldnt have a leg to stand on.But their is a possible loophole you might be able to get out of it if they are putting your charges up in May.

    See: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4923754

"TalkTalk says customers have a 30-day period from being told about the price rise to leave penalty-free. It will be contacting existing customers from 27 March."

yep they want over 500 quid to cancel for box and remainder of contract - just dont have it.

so i am now paying for 3 services i am not getting, nor are they even supplying :(

Fingers crossed for the loophole oldgreyfox!

    >> WiFI booster or home plugs would solve that problem.

With luck they will put your price up and you can cancel .

As they are increasing prices, then you can leave because they have changed the contract, and you don't accept the changes.

If you have paid for phone line rental upfront I'm not sure you will get that back as that price hasn't changed because you have already paid so there is no increase, but can certainly cancel BB and TV.
