I like the new ISA rules - A LOT!
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Milliband is really sticking the knives in, but to what end?

    Who actually buys this waffle?

Its so easier to rubbish and slag off someone else, the skill and kudos goes to those who present constructive arguments....not having to mention the Bullingdon Boys club (again).

Just need the interest rates to make it worthwhile now.

Lacking wind in his sails I would say. Same old rhetoric that's been said over and over again.

emails: When will Ed Miliband concede that it was their failure to control the banks and the debts that led to the economic recession, their failure to account for the billions that we spent on quantative easing that led to a lack of confidence in his party's ability to recover from recession?

Milliband is abolishing the bedroom tax?

What tax is that then ? :);)

If you're going to abolish something, at least get the name of it right.

He's just ended his speech and the last 15 seconds was where the budget response was. Milliband will freeze gas prices, guarantee jobs for youths and build 200k houses a year.

Not a bad budget overall, was expecting more of the same and we got mostly that but the pension and ISA stuff is quite a radical change.

Milliband really hammering the "bankers" angle and going on about Tories looking after the rich.

There was utter disbelief on te trading floor here when Ed came out with his example of a "banker earning £5m per year". That is so far away from the norm to simply be nonsensical, and if he wanted to talk about the effect on a £5m earner, why on earth specify the profession?
