I think you should still pursue shoosmiths with some urgency for a breakdown of their figures. I would write the letter and send it recorded delivery.. Good news Scared - this will give you a bit of time to tackle Shoosmiths over the figures and establish how responsibly you are handling this, so when the court case comes round again, the judge will see that you are dealing with the problem and drastic action is not necessary!
