  • I'm not posting a selfie of me. I look horrendous!
Anyhow, just donate to charity in any case. No need for me to see everyone's face on my time line.

I'm shattered, no sleep week again with Asher and Noah's very stressed and depressed. Just been to CAMHS appt again today.
    Still fighting LEA....

Hilly... Both my babies have been big ... They even out as they grow. I've got HV coming next week to do ashers 12 month check. No doubt she'll be too big on their chart.
As for milk I think it's recommended they have breast or formula as main drink till 12 months due to iron content. They can have cows milk in food and cereal but still need around 600 ml breast or formula milk a day.
Doesn't havd to be follow on milk which I agree is a con!

Hi Chums great visit with my consultant this afternoon and he is so pleased at how well I have stuck to my diet, and the amount I have lost over the past 8-9 months, that he not only has agreed to do my op. next month but he has booked my second op. in already.
Basically because of a weight and heart problem he wasn't keen to do the big op where he takes a chunk from my back, and reconstructs my new boob with it at the front. It's a 8 hour op. and he would rather do this new operation which is three shorter ones, but gives me an almost similar result. The first op. is where he liposuctions some tummy from me, and it goes through a special machine and he layers it across the front of my chest .Then two months later he will put a mesh insert to 'grow' me a new boob.:):) then the last op. will be to reposition and reduce my existing boob so it matches the new on the right hand side .and voila hopefully by the autumn I will be able to go into M&S or next and buy a bra which will be the first proper one since my mastectomy in 2007.I am so pleased as it means that my clothes will hang properly, and I will feel like a nprmal person once more.
It sound like vanity, but it really isn't As I explained to my DDs just getting into the shower every morning reminds me of how disfiguring a mastectomy is, and unless you have been through it, no one knows what it feels like.

My youngest DD is great and 100% behind me bless her ,whereas my eldest isn't happy about the procedure at all, and would rather not have me have any more surgery. But I think she will come round in the end, when she sees how chuffed I am, just to feel better about myself.
My consultant is a smashing chap and we have had several long consultations about why I wanted it done, and he agrees that he can do it as he is a top plastics chap in his field. He told me that the oldest lady he has operated on was 86 !!! so I am a mere child by comparison :):):) So I am one very happy old woman tonight :):) and can't wait to get the first op. done and dusted.I have my pre-op check up next Tuesday, and then its a case of getting a bed organised .Thank you for all of your good wishes and kind thoughts
Cheers everyone I am just going to have a celebratory glass of vino

JackieO I am so pleased all went well at the hospital. I don't have any alcohol in the house but I will raise a glass of diet cola in a celebratory toast.

Just a thought peeps. Ive had a couple of people from here request my Facebook friendship and ive gladly accepted. If anyone else wants to add me as their friend, just inbox me.

Hubby is getting ready for his hospital appointment. Tea has been cooked, moaned at and been eaten.

Heres to the start of a good evening.
