Morning all,
JackieO I hope all goes well with your consultant today. Hubby has got an appointment tonight with his knee. He's well chuffed, its a private hospital and they do evening appointments. His appointment is at 7.30.
'Youngest' is ill. He's not eating and I think a doctors appointment is in order if he doesn't feel better soon. Thing is he is getting fussier and fussier.
Still thinking about Mom.:( I don't like the home my brother has put her in and I'm sure if she hadn't got dementia, she'd be quite vocal about it. Still, its my fault for not being stronger.
Tea.... well I haven't thought about that yet. We'll see.

Morning all,
Thanks for the support, it makes a difference being able to 'talk' to people here.
DS2 went to school this morning as they hadn't told him what to do next. They are allowing him to go to Snowdonia next week, my first thought was because they'd have to pay us back if not. But, he rang me at break and said that the Geography dept staff had spoken to the head of 6th form and told her that he was doing well, put effort in and should be allowed to complete this year. So I can't work that out. Somewhere, someone is not being honest. He is also going to speak to Physics dept as he loves the subject and at the last parents evening they said he was doing well.
We will look at other options for the Autumn.
Just been into town to pick up a few bits and was very pleased with my bargain £7 sweatshirt from TKMaxx.
Sausages for tea tonight.
JackieO, hope you get the outcome you want this afternoon.
Judi, I hope your youngest is ok.0 -
Hi all; thought I'd better put in an appearance today, as I likely won't be around tomorrow.LW hope you perk up and feel a bit more comfortable soon - have you got any canine visitors to look forward to?
JackieO very best wishes and posi-vibes for your appointment this afternoon.
As mentioned, I shall likely be offline tomorrow; Mr LW has the day off for Ostara; and the plan is to try and bring some order to our [STRIKE]wilderness[/STRIKE] garden if possible. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Will keep my fingers crossed for nice mild sunny weather around the concrete cow town for you - would send you what we currently have near that Lancashire coastal resort, but it might not last!

Morning
Cold but dry here. Had the rubbish men in, all cleared for £70. Worth it for not having the hassle of shifting it myself.:T
Just posted my "no make up" selfie on Facebook for cancer. I hope I've kicked mine, and feel so good about it!:rotfl:
DD has jsut phoned, she took DGS to the clinic, becuse the health visitor said he was obese:mad: He isn't obese, he's a gorgeous baby! Women at clinic said he isn't obese, so up yours missus health visitor! She also berated DD for giving him cows milk with vitamins now. He's now 7 months, and we think these "follow-on" milks are just a con. She said it could be classed as "child abuse" Never heard anything like it. DD gave her short shrift, and walked out of the clinic. Honestly Nanny state or what?!
Sorry for rant, but purlease.....
Hope you get on okaytoday JackieO.:A
Have a good day allI Believe in saving money!!!:T

Hello all x
Hillstep, that's utterly horrendous. How on earth can a baby be obese at 7 months? Ridiculous. I got hounded cos my eldest wasn't putting on weight quickly enough. She was putting on weight, but not as quickly as they wanted. Was so stressful & contributed to my depression. Tell your dd to ignore the Hv. Also my friend has ENORMOUS babies. They even out once they're toddlers & mobile.
Hope today goes well JackieO xxx
Yesterday the psychologist came around to do a report for ds2 for his upcoming MDA appointment in April. I have had to fight for this.
Today he has his appointment at the local centre with the paediatrician so she can send a report to the LA for his statement. It's all go here. Also had to fight for this appointment!
Last night we were up at the high school for dds options. It's a big decision for her to make. She's going down the traditional pathway & has a little idea of what subjects she wants to do.
Dinner tonight is fish & chips (frozen) for me & dh. Kids have pizza. The dough is defrosting as always make too much when I make it.
Ds2 is just having his lunch and he can go to school for the afternoon session. I've told him he's going to school & he said "no thanks"! He doesn't communicate very well, but when he does, he can be quite funny.
I've joined the national autistic society & got some paperwork from them today. Will read through that later.
Also got a letter from the DLA. Just telling me I'm ds2s appointed person to deal with it all. No letter to say how much we are getting (if any) yet.
Ok, I shall be off now.
Hope everyone is ok
Love, hugs & spoons xxxx0 -

Oh goodness judi I haven't checked my facebook again since this morning, when I look later I hope not to be confronted by mens balls!!!! :rotfl:
I do think that money needs to be donated and not a bare faced selfie, or at least money should be donated to the charity each time someone posts a picture as this is whats needed to help. I haven't done one, but my Grandma who lost her fight with bowl cancer at the age of 60 would be horrified if I posted a bare faced picture I think, she always had her make-up done, even on her death bed bless her
The sun is still shining here, shame to be stuck in work and not out enjoying it!Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
It was grey this morning but has brightened up.
DH took me over to Poplars today, but I was not impressed, their prices are a laugh.
Got home and went to town to get some money out of the bank and to get my meds.
DH wants beef stew tonight so that is in the oven and it smells divine
Judi I would be miffed at balls in the face as well
Hilly some of these health visitors think they know it all, I am sick of people and children being judged on their weight, it is constitutionalised bullying  I would report her to the GP where she is based and the health authority .........snotty mare :mad:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
