Flight redirect

Hello,

Quick background on the situation. We're due to fly to Lodz airport (Poland) in May 2014 unfortunately the airport has decided to shut down for the week we fly out there. They've done this for repairs etc.

Now I'm flying there with Ryan air, they have redirected us to Warsaw which isn't close and is further away. I was very excited as I'm flying out to get married and the week they decide to close the airport me & my fiance and my family are flying out there (feels like i got **** on ).

What I wanted to know is it Ryan air's responsibility to get us to Lodz as we booked out ticket to go there or can they just dump us in Warsaw and expect us to make our own way there.

It's not a problem to get there from Warsaw its more of an annoyance and all of this stress.

I've emailed Ryan air a couple of times the first time when i asked what they would do with the airport closure (as I found out before them it seems) is the following :
Thank you for contacting Ryanair.

We inform you that unfortunately your flight have been affected by a route change. Currently your flights are operating to/from Warsaw Modlin (WMI). We have resent the email itinerary reflecting the actual flight details.

[FONT=&quot]Please accept our renewed apologies regarding the disruption of your flight.

After asking them about transport from Warsaw to Lodz i received this :
[/FONT]Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Ryanair.

Unfortunately, Ryanair does not ensure transport from Warsaw to Lodz. We kindly ask you to contact Lodz airport for more information.
[FONT=&quot]We apologise for any inconvenience caused.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

I just want to know where I stand, thank you very much for any help and stress relief!
