We read it ourselves once a week to keep an eye on it, but never send them readings as they always read it themselves. Can you not keep an eye on your own meter to check you won't be charged for a million litres?
It's under the pavement. The engineer stuffed it with some foam material, so it's a hassle to read, I check my electric and gas meter about once a month, no access problem.0 -

Yes, ours is too. We have to lift out the piece of foam on top, but it has a handle so not too bad. Need pretty good eyesight to see the numbers though!0
