And really it shouldn't be.
Scam; dishonest scheme; a fraud
A dreamt up pre-estimate of loss that is arguably, not based on any factual loss, knowingly misleading and therefore an abuse of the legal system in trying to get it applied by a judge.

We've been down this road several times in the last couple of years and sadly the warning threads from the Forum Manager have now been absorbed into the general Parking Board Sticky and isn't really obvious. It is available here
The shame is than venting one's spleen - perfectly understandably - could well result in otherwise really useful information being lost. This thread serves a decided purpose but pushing things to the edge doesn't really help that.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
