ESA Not Credited Today.....

Hi,

Wondering if this is just me or if others have had the same issue.

My ESA was due today (Monday), it normally showing in my Bank Account during the Weekend but it didn't show and still isn't showing tonight.

Has anyone else not received it? just wanted to make sure before phoning them tomorrow, my DLA is due to credit tomorrow so that better credit :(

Mine did not go in yesterday either, and was couple days late for previous payment - seems to be issues at present with payments will check again later.

I think my mum has had this problem with my brother's ESA. She checked with me if I was due mine - I receive mine the alternate week. It was in there the next day.

I had the opposite, mine went in early with a text telling me my change of circumstances had been received and processed and a payment sent for same day arrival.

All excited (not really that excited) thinking I may have been group without assessment I called to ask what it was all about. Nothing on the system said why it had happened but it was my normal amount made by a manual payment so there must have been an error with the automatic payment apparently.

Next payment due tomorrow, I won't panic as much if it doesn't arrive now!

I think there are problems with ESA payments, a friend with a severely disabled son has had 2 missed payments in the space of 6 weeks, when she phoned up, they said the system would only cope with so many payments and some were being automatically dropped off!

Which sounds a bit worrying I think! So not sure what is going on, would definitely ring them.

Meant to be first payment of ESA in the bank today, and it isn't there. Very worrying. May I ask if anyone knows the best (cheapest) number to contact them on? There's a number on the letter, but it's an 0845 number.

    Thanks, Cat

I don't know another number, sorry.

My payment went in as normal today, not that I can spend any of it but at least it's there!
