Sorry for the really dumb question, but how do I close my 'account' here? Can't see anything about doing it in user CP, but maybe I'm missing the obvious?!? Thanks in advance!

There is no facility built in to the forum to close your account.

That of course is your choice but check out the other parts of the forum, you might find a tip to a bargain, even if it is just half price chocolate in Lidl's

Unfortunately there is no way to make sure you data is erased, they will hold on to it (if it's going to be used by moneysupermarket in future for marketing purposes I'm not sure but there will probably be something saying that it can, I expect).

We do not remove usernames or past posts. It disrupts the history of the forum for all users.

If you don't want to post on the forum any more, simply stop posting. No one else will use that account. However, if there are specific posts of yours which cause you concern email [EMAIL="forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com"]forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL] for help. Remember you are able to delete your own posts.

I don't think any posts will be deleted (in the truest sense).
They will simply be removed from view.

Of course not. That would reduce the number of 'Members' on the forum. Can't have that.
