You do realise the company 'could' be held liable under POFA 2012 so they should be naming you as driver anyway so that you get the letters and you can ignore it all? You are technically too late to appeal so you can follow the advice in the NEWBIES thread about your options when 'too late to appeal' and the post #6 in the same sticky, telling you about debt collector letters (drivel). Better to get the letters yourself, rather than worry that your company might get shirty and pay it and deduct the charge from your wages or summat.

You are up against a PPC which doesn't do Court but it's best for your company to name you as driver which is what they should have done really (name and address). Then you should keep all the letters just in case but with UKPC I wouldn't worry about it nor respond at this late stage. As long as it is UKPC and not UKCPS!

Many Thanks. They were UKPC window tickets. The letters are now coming from DR+.
I am being handed the letters directly. My company aren't & won't be involved in any communication with either UKPC or DR+ unless I specifically make them aware of it or ask them to.
So I understand, are you saying I (& my company) should continue to ignore these letters?

Look you are not understanding this, your company are currently liable and threats of court could make them pay these invoices. The next step would be probable letters from gladstones who are solicitors with these threats, this could sway them to pay!

Now you could write to them admitting you were the driver, but it would be better if it came from the company itself. They as stated don't do court, but they are a successful bunch of scammers with their threats

Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Is your vehicle registered to your company? Or to a lease/hire company? If the latter, which lease/hire company?

Any correspondence relating to these cases will come directly & automatically to me via a neutral party. My company will not be involved unless I specifically (need to) make them aware of it.
I'll happily pay the fine if it results in no actual, enforceable court action can be taken against my company.

Under the Protection of a Freedoms Act 2012, liability will be on the registered keeper of the vehicle, so if in the minute chance that a claim is made it will come to them and not you. I don't understand how this will automatically come to you, how is that possible if it's addressed to the RK ?

We can only go by what we know happens with these companies and pofa 2012 works. We can't obviously advise on what or how your company deal with these kind of things, but what you are saying is frankly odd. I have never heard of company doing what you are saying

    what FINE ?

all I can see here are parking charge notices, there is no fine as only a court or a judge can issue fines , which they do not do for private parking incidents and have not done here either

you have 2 invoices, 2 parking charge notices , that is all you have (or the company has)

get your company to write to the PPC naming you as driver for both of these invoices, also get them to do the same with DR+ as well

The letter comes to our office, the secretary opens it, she hands it to me. Simple as that.
If a solicitor like gladstones send a letter, it will still find its way to me in the same manner.

Many sources on this website suggest that providing personal details is the single worst thing you can do.

Beyond what you have suggested, what is then the course of action? Continue to ignore all correspondence?

Ignore is an option of course, but we can only tell you what could happen, and that is a claim against your company. It's very odd setup at your company with this, if it's the company name on the RK details and I presume they are a limited company, one step they could do is write to the registered address of the company with these threats.

That could mean you don't see these letters and it goes to a different department or the managing director, and a decision is made to pay. We always advise on here to take it away from companies because in general they become nervous with the letters, and they pay! Which leaves people with a problem with their employer. What does your contract of employment say on this? What is the policy for fleet cars?
