I turned off my mobile data, 3g and data roaming after reaching my limit two weeks into my new month.

The bill has just arrived and there are two data downloads each day after I turned everything off, one at 00.00 and the other around 10pm -11pm. What are they and how are they allowed?

Also my line rental has gone up by 72p?

    Apple iphone 5

only a nominal amount of data / at 00.00 up to 5078kb and at 10pm - 11pm up to 849kb. (no charges incurred)

Nothing serious but it looks like regular data but I cannot think what it is. I'm just curious more than over worried.

These amounts and times are through out the bill whether the data is on or off. Also the phone is turned off at night when this data is showing on the bill.

I know, this doesn't explain anything, but turning 3g off makes no difference as data can be transmitted over 2g, although slowly,

    Even turning off data altogether.

I turned off the data option, plus 3g data option and data roaming option, so I assumed it would be like a normal phone and then just use wireless.
