Looking for cheap copies of spirits etc please?

Having a few people round this weekend and want to get a few bottles of spirits in, not too many, maybe 4/5 bottles of different things.
Normally would get the real thing but don't want to spend too much money so want to get some decent copies if there are any.
I haven't told anyone to bring anything but I know what my friends are like and expect they will bring beer and wine so probably won't be buying any of that I don't think. If we change our minds then there is always M&S or Tesco who have wine deals on at the moment.
Are there any cheap vodkas around? Probably won't bother with vodka as the cheap ones I have tried have all tasted terrible and give people bad headaches which I don't want to inflict on my friends!:p
If there is one that is recommended though then we might go for it.
Most places have fake baileys that taste good, what would you recommend? About 5 years ago I bought one from Tesco that I thought was lovely and it was about £3 but then they discontinued it.
What about a malibu copy, or Archers?
I got a malibu copy from Iceland once which was ok but I'm sure there are better out there.
Are there any fake copies that I shouldn't touch with a bargepole?
Also if you know the prices then that would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.:j

Morrisons "Morrinov" vodka is fine and unless you really go mad, headache free in my experience. It's usually £9.97 for a Litre."Hey, if love is blind, how come lingerie is so popular?" Cochrane. P673 TNG.0

I make my own using a kit from my local home brew supplier!0

Well me and my flatmate have tried the Aldi version of Malibu and it is not bad at £5.29 (almost half the price of Malibu) but you can definitely taste the difference if you are a hardcore Malibu fan. We are going to have to get another bottle now as we only had one each but our measures are more like quadruples!:rotfl:
Please keep the suggestions coming, thanks.0 -
Lidl gin is ok with a mixer. I think Aldi do a peach snaaps (Archers) that's good.0

iceland, £4 a bottle - malibu, archers, bourbon (lower alcohol % than real bourbon), pimms, baileys copies.
all ok with mixers so excellent value for money.0 -
Why don't you make a punch - say similar to sangria. Mine goes down a storm - also if you get cheap spirits it hides the taste:-
You can get cheap plastic jugs in Tescos (think bbq type stuff, in the gardening bit) to put it in. Reckon the amount below makes 2 jugs worth.
1/2 bottle white wine & red wine - Both cheap and sweet (think lambrini type stuff)
Then I put in a good slug (about a teacup size) of martini, gin, vodka, pimms or whatever is in your cupboard (not Baileys though!) - I tend to use Martini & vodka.
1/2 bottle of lemonade.
1/2 carton of orange juice.
Chop up apples, pears, oranges, grapes and throw it all in.
If you get extra bottles of wine you can make another batch - bit like 2-4-1!!!
As you make it, taste it & change to suit. If it's too strong put in more orange or lemonade or if too pale put more red wine in it.
It's great for parties but it's like rocket fuel as it doesn't taste strong.
If you make it, let me know what you think x0
