I never expected to get the drives and if they had Emailed me saying it was an error then we all would have been happy.

But what they have done is change the details without asking me first and that's against their own T&C.

I will think twice before ever ordering from them again unless it's another massive missprice.

Now take John Lewis we had a good deal going from them recently and it all came off, it was not large amounts of money but the service was first class and would order from them anytime and infact we are thinking of placing a order of £500 shortly.

Also Viking Direct had a triple BT phones set priced at £5 got a phone call saying it was a mistake and order would not be filled, problem sorted for them and I would order from them again.

So any company that has to change an order so underhanded has to be a little doggy to deal with at least that's what I think.

I forgot to add, did I read they said the price should have been £199.95, I am sure on the site it was posted as £269.95. Did they lie again?

From the prices on their site for the 500 and 750GB drives I would have guessed £199 - still £20 more than the price on Iomega's site...
Wins so far this year: It's been a quiet year so far :)

Due to a temporary inaccurate pricing issue on the store, the price of the product was listed incorrectly as £19.95. Whereas the correct online Apple Store price is £199.95 i.e. the listed price was approximately 10% of the correct price.

mine were £16.98 not £19.95 which a lot of people seem to have got them at. The price did change from 16.98 to 19.95 so someone at apple must have done that therefore they knew they had set the price to 19.95 from 16.98

Are they telling us they made 2 Pricing Mistakes?

That price was the price without VAT, I think.

Right on.... ;) Sometimes they reverse the quidco though after the order cancellation is noticed.

Yeah, don't think it's a case of "sometimes" - If the sale isn't completed, no commission is paid, so you won't get any cashback - that's why there's a lead time before cashback is paid ;)
