  • Glad to see things are working out for you.
What is the difference between your house and the one you want to buy ?
The difference between the one we are selling and buying is 2 more bedrooms and bigger front garden a garage, down stairs toilet and a down stairs shower room, and dinning room. And lots of room to make it bigger for the future.. Good luck hope you get the house...

WE GOT IT!!!!!!! And they have cancelled tomorrow's open day. Something of a miracle in SW London.

We accepted and asking price offer yetserday and offered the asking price on the one we want and had it accepted this morning. Our buyers are FTB and the house we want is vacant after divorce. The only sales are through the same EA so, all things being equal it should go through.

They are both on at the same price but, where ours doesn't need a thing doing even down to being newly decorated, our purchase needs work doing.

alwaystryyourbest, the work we are planning will cost an additional £100k or so but we gain:
    Better postcode (CR to SW17)
40m2 extra floor area or 60m2 with the extension we are planning
Scope for amazing kitchen/diner/bifold doors extension
Extra bedroom once we divide the 23 foot loft into 2 kids bedrooms
    Bigger first floor bedrooms
    Much bigger lounge
    Off street parking
    Bigger garden
    Brick built outhouse
Closer (only 0.3 miles) to brilliant secondary school
