Anna not sure we will ever get an answer. They seem to be selling things off as and when it suits them with no consultation.ONE HOUSE , DS+ DD Missymoo Living a day at a time and getting through this mess you have created. One day life will have no choice but to be nice to me :rotfl:0

That is government policy: austerity. Even though it is proven as a failed set of ideas that only serves to make the rich richer, and the people (and national wealth) poorer, selling stuff off is central to it! What amazes me is how passive people are about it in the UK. Although slightly different to Greece in situation, the UK government has implemented the same policy in essence, whilst in Greece it was forced on them (and accepted by a conservative led coalition). The difference in Greece, the people are more clued up and less apathetic, and went out on to the streets and eventually elected a new government that opposes it. Coming up to the general erection here in May, all the 3 major parties basically still peddle the same lies about how an economy should work, and what is good for us!0

Your dd was probably cancelled like many others around September. This was apparently because of a human error. This took thousands of people into arrears. I wouldn't expect any answer fron erudio and after eight weeks escalate it to the fos. But to be honest I wouldn't expect an outcome from them either.
So was there ever any investigation by the authorities into the 'error' that caused thousands of DDs to be cancelled - potentially putting huge numbers into arrears? You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out that the creation of arrears suits Erudio. Did no-one in the FCA smell a rat?
This pretty much confirms my view that, despite the rules and regs, these people can essentially do what they want, safe in the knowledge that our 'soft touch' approach allows them to sail very close to the wind.0 -

That pretty much sums up how the entire debt collection sector works.

I'm ready to get placards and march on Government.
If Erudio do report to CRAs later this year and as payment holidays then I have absolutely NO hope of getting my first mortgage. It would've been a joint one with my boyfriend, so in essence they'll have screwed him over too.
I also have no idea how Erudio can claim I have arrears on my account when I have been in deferment since I graduated. AND I'm also in breach apparently (as a recent letter they sent me states), as I have no direct debit set up.

I suggest you all get on the students section of this website and make threads, posts warning people about the dangers of student loans.
A whole generation of students will never be able to own their own homes due to student loans being miss-sold as not effecting your ability to get a mortgage when blatantly it is a big fat lie!0 -

Did they advise that you were in arrears when they first notified you of the acquisition of the loan, or did they arise from delays created by Erudio?0 -
The arrears letters were sent out together dated June and October. The fos don't care about the dd as theyvstate it is the account holders responsibility to ensure it goes out.ONE HOUSE , DS+ DD Missymoo Living a day at a time and getting through this mess you have created. One day life will have no choice but to be nice to me :rotfl:0

After delays created by Erudio. I had already received my confirmation of deferment from SLC a month beforehand (March 2014). The arrears letter arrived in December 2014, dated MAY 2014. April and May were the months that Erudio also stole two unauthorised payments from me.
Can't help wondering if they have done this just to stitch me up when cancellation is due (not 'til 2025 for me).meh...0
